Witch Hunt

A witch-hunt is a search for witches or evidence of witchcraft, often followed by execution or sommaire trials.

Such practices often involve harassement persecution of minority groups, mass hysteria and gruesome lynching.

Today, witch-hunt are still carried out in the Third World, ostensibly to uncover subversive activities but actually used to harass and undermine those with differing views.
